American Solar Care

C
C grade. The license is real and clean but barely two years old, the company certifies to CSLB that it has no employees, and it publishes no warranty, no founding year, and no license number.

American Solar Care checks the most important box: it is licensed. The brand is a DBA of ASC Solar Services Inc, and CSLB license 1122316 is current and active, a C-10 Electrical classification issued June 17, 2024 and expiring June 30, 2028, with a $25,000 bond from Arch Insurance. The address and phone on the license match the company site exactly, so there is no entity confusion here. What the record does not give you is history. This license is barely two years old, and nothing we fetched, not the site, not BBB, establishes any operating history before mid 2024. The about blurb says only "with years of experience" and the footer stat counters render as zero placeholders.

Two details deserve a direct question before you sign anything. First, the license carries a workers compensation exemption: the company certified to CSLB that it has no employees, effective June 23, 2026. The blog talks about "our certified team," but a no-employees certification means the people on your roof are either subcontractors or the record is stale. Ask who actually performs the work. Second, the qualifying individual, Arman Majaryan, is simultaneously the qualifier on two other active Glendale licenses, Eagle Eye Electric and Power Care. That is legal, but it means the licensed expertise is spread across three companies.

The rest of the picture is thin rather than bad. BBB rates the company A- with no complaints displayed, though the BBB record starts the same day the license does, so it has had little time to accumulate anything. No CSLB disciplinary disclosure appeared, and enforcement searches came back empty. No warranty terms, service area detail, or license number appear anywhere on the fetched pages, and the company is absent from all three Solar Power World 2026 lists. Get a quote if the price is right, but make them put the crew arrangement and a written workmanship warranty in the contract, because neither exists in public today.

The evidence

LongevityVerified

The only anchored dates are recent: CSLB issued license 1122316 on June 17, 2024, and BBB lists the identical business start date. The company site states no founding year on any fetched page and its footer counters render as zero placeholders, so two years is the entire verifiable history.

Complaints and enforcementVerified

No disciplinary disclosure appeared on the CSLB license detail page, BBB rates ASC Solar Services A- with no complaints displayed, and enforcement searches found nothing naming the company. Weigh that lightly: the BBB record only dates to June 2024, so a clean sheet reflects a short life more than a proven one.

Verifiable volumePending verification

Neither American Solar Care nor ASC Solar Services appears on the 2026 Solar Power World national, California, or installers lists, and the company publishes no project counts. No independent installation volume exists in this evidence set.

License statusVerified

The license carries a workers comp exemption certifying no employees effective June 23, 2026, and qualifier Arman Majaryan is also active on two other Glendale licenses.

Warranty termsPending verification

No workmanship warranty duration or terms appear on the homepage, homeowner page, maintenance page, or blog. Until the company puts a warranty in writing, assume you are relying on the statutory minimums and the $25,000 bond.

How to read this

This C is a young-company grade, not a warning about conduct. Nothing adverse was found; there simply is not much record of any kind yet. If you like the quote, close the gaps yourself: ask in writing who performs the installation given the no-employees certification on file, get the workmanship warranty terms on paper, and confirm license 1122316 is still active at CSLB before your contract date. Our full rubric, including how our own installation business gets graded on the same scale, is on the methodology page. We are a solar installer and we partner with other solar companies. Grading is structurally separated from revenue; see disclosures.
