GNRG, INC holds TECL 36752, status Active, issued January 14, 2022 and expiring January 14, 2027, at 2526 Manana Dr in Dallas. Its designated master electrician, Mark A. Barylski, ME 11797, is active and licensed since 2004. One detail worth knowing: TDLR shows he is simultaneously the designated master for three other electrical contractors, and his county of record is Gregg County, not Dallas. That is legal, but it tells you the master behind the license is spread across four companies.
The BBB record is genuinely good. A+ rating, accredited since March 14, 2022, business started January 24, 2014, and 8 complaints in the last 3 years with 6 closed in the last 12 months. No government enforcement action naming GNRG was found; the Texas Attorney General's 2026 solar actions target other companies. So why not a B? Because almost nothing else can be checked. The company site publishes no founding year, no warranty terms, no address, no phone, and no license number, and its services, contact, and FAQ pages sat behind a captcha when we tried to read them. The claim that GNRG is the only company offering a 30 year warranty, quoted as A to Z, no questions asked, appears only on its EnergySage profile, a third party page carrying a company statement with no scope stated. A warranty that exists nowhere on the company's own site is a claim, not a term.
Two more things before you sign anything. BBB lists gnrg-us.co as an additional GNRG website, and a third domain, gnrgusa.com, markets GNRG solar and roofing in Bexar County with a 25 year warranty; the relationship between that third site and the Dallas company is not stated anywhere we could read. And among the customer reviews on the BBB profile is a claim of a job quoted at 70k dollars that ended up billed at 120k dollars. One review is one review, but with no published pricing or warranty paper trail, get every number and every warranty term in writing before work starts, and confirm the contract names GNRG, INC of Dallas, TECL 36752.
The evidence
BBB dates the business start and incorporation to January 24, 2014, and EnergySage describes the company as operating since 2014, but GNRG's own site states no founding year and its verifiable licensed history only begins with the TECL issued January 14, 2022. The 2014 date rests on third party records the company itself does not confirm.

Barylski, ME 11797, is Active through April 13, 2027 and is simultaneously the designated master for three other electrical contractors. Status under the new TDLR Solar Residential Retailer registry could not be checked because the Versa portal search did not function this session.

No warranty terms appear on the readable pages of gnrg.co, and the services, contact, and FAQ pages were unreadable behind a captcha. The only warranty statement found is on GNRG's EnergySage profile, where the company claims to be the only company offering a 30 year warranty, quoted as A to Z, no questions asked, with no scope stated. Treat that as a company claim carried by a third party until it appears in your contract.

How to read this
This C is not a complaint problem; the BBB record is clean. It is a verification problem. The state license and the complaint record could be checked, and both pass, but the warranty, the founding year, and the installation volume could not be verified anywhere the company controls. If you get a quote, ask GNRG to put the 30 year warranty in the contract with its scope spelled out, confirm which entity and which website you are actually dealing with, and get the final price in writing before work starts.
