Installer profile

Goldin Solar

C
Provisional grade. Goldin Solar has a long Florida record and substantial claimed volume, but 13 BBB complaints in three years and unreconciled CVC license numbers keep it at C.
Goldin Solar is a Vero Beach-based Florida installer that says it has operated since 2014 and completed more than 3,000 installations statewide. The operating history is straightforward. The documentation is not. Its site publishes CVC57300, while its BBB profile lists CVC56965 with an August 31, 2028 expiration, and the two numbers could not be reconciled against DBPR during this research. BBB reports an A+ rating and 13 complaints in the last three years, four closed in the last 12 months. The company publishes a workmanship warranty, but not its duration. It is worth a quote, but make the license and labor warranty questions part of the first call, not a last-minute contract review.

The evidence

LongevityVerified

BBB lists incorporation on February 24, 2014 and business start on December 19, 2014. The company's own about page says "Since 2014." More than a decade in the same state is a meaningful operating record.

Complaints and enforcementPending verification

BBB reports an A+ rating, accreditation since September 2017, 13 complaints in the last three years, and four closed in the last 12 months. The research did not confirm a company-specific regulatory action, lawsuit, bankruptcy, or acquisition. Thirteen complaints is not a footnote, and the available search result is not a clean government-record check, so this stays pending.

Verifiable volumeCompany claim

Goldin Solar says it has completed 3,000+ installations across Florida and has more than a decade in business. That is the company's own number, we treat it as a claim. It did not appear in the 2025 or 2026 Solar Power World Florida lists reviewed for this research, and no MW total was published.

License statusPending verification

The company publishes CVC57300, EC1301385, and CCC1331878. BBB instead lists CVC56965, issued by Florida DBPR, with an August 31, 2028 expiration. Those two solar CVC numbers conflict, and DBPR could not be reached in the research session to settle which is current. Do not assume the discrepancy is harmless.

Warranty termsPending verification

Goldin Solar says it offers a workmanship warranty, 25-year panel manufacturer coverage, and inverter and battery coverage of 10 to 25 years. It does not publish the workmanship duration or a production guarantee. Equipment warranties and labor coverage are not the same thing, so ask for both.

How to read this

Goldin has enough history to deserve attention, but its paperwork has a visible loose end. Ask which CVC number will appear on your permit, then independently confirm that number before you sign. Ask for the written workmanship term, the warranty administrator, and whether roof work carries different coverage. The 3,000+ installation figure may be accurate, but it is self-published, not independently matched here. Finally, read the BBB complaint themes, not only the headline rating, and use the contract to pin down every promise. Our full rubric, including how our own installation business gets graded on the same scale, is on the methodology page. We are a solar installer and we partner with other solar companies. Grading is structurally separated from revenue; see disclosures.
