Heliogold Solar
The evidence
Heliogold says it was founded in 2016 and has been trusted by Southern California families since 2016. CSLB issued its only located license on September 9, 2021, and BBB reports four years in business. The public dates conflict, so the 2016 claim is not treated as verified operating history.

BBB reports one complaint in the last three years and one closed in the last 12 months, while showing an A+ rating and no government-action alert. No CSLB citation, attorney general action, or court record was found in this research. The expired-license record is a state licensing problem, not a formal enforcement action.

No employee count, installation count, or megawatt figure was found. Heliogold is absent from Solar Power World's 2026 national and 2025 California contractor lists. Its website says it has been trusted by thousands of families, but without supporting public data that remains a company claim.
CSLB lists Heliogold, a corporation, under license 1080972 with B General Building only. The license expired September 30, 2025 and the page states that it is expired and not able to contract at this time. CSLB says a contractor bond, workers compensation compliance, and replacement qualifying person are needed to renew active or reactivate. The listed bond was cancelled October 11, 2025 and the listed workers compensation expired March 31, 2026. No C-46 Solar or C-10 Electrical classification appears on this license.

Heliogold claims a 25-Year Workmanship Warranty backed by trusted partnerships. It does not publish the warranty terms, exclusions, transfer conditions, or the party carrying the obligation. A financing page separately mentions SunPower's 25-year parts, labor, and shipping product warranty. Neither statement resolves who would perform workmanship service while the only located CSLB license is expired.

How to read this
There is no contract-review workaround for a state record that says the company cannot contract. First, verify a current CSLB license number, classification, bond, workers compensation, and qualifying person in the legal name that will sign your agreement. If the proposal points to a different contractor, identify that contractor and rerun the checks. Do not let the 25-year warranty headline answer a licensing question it cannot answer. Our full rubric, including how our own installation business gets graded on the same scale, is on the methodology page. We are a solar installer and we partner with other solar companies. Grading is structurally separated from revenue; see disclosures.
