F grade. Heliogold's only located CSLB license expired on September 30, 2025 and says it is not able to contract. It is B General Building only, its bond is cancelled, workers compensation has lapsed, and CSLB says a qualifying person must be replaced before renewal or reactivation.

Heliogold Solar's license record is a stop sign. CSLB lists one Heliogold license, number 1080972, and it is expired. The state page says the business is not able to contract at this time. The only classification is B General Building, not C-46 solar or C-10 electrical. The record also shows a cancelled contractor bond, workers compensation that expired in March 2026, and a need to replace the qualifying person before the license can be renewed or reactivated. Those are active licensing problems, which belong in the F band regardless of a claimed 25-year workmanship warranty. The website's 2016 founding claim also does not line up with the 2021 license issue date or BBB's four years in business. Do not contract under this profile unless a current, properly classified state record is independently confirmed first.

A financing page separately mentions SunPower's 25-year parts, labor, and shipping product warranty. Neither statement resolves who would perform workmanship service while the only located CSLB license is expired.

How to read this

There is no contract-review workaround for a state record that says the company cannot contract. First, verify a current CSLB license number, classification, bond, workers compensation, and qualifying person in the legal name that will sign your agreement. If the proposal points to a different contractor, identify that contractor and rerun the checks. Do not let the 25-year warranty headline answer a licensing question it cannot answer.
