Independent Solar
The evidence
The company says it was founded in 2003 as Havasu Solar in Mohave County and rebranded with affiliate company Independent Solar in February 2022. BBB records a December 12, 2003 business start. The current Arizona corporation record for INDEPENDENT SOLAR LLC was formed March 18, 2022, which fits the rebrand timeline rather than the underlying operating history.

BBB reports an A+ rating, accreditation since May 31, 2023, four complaints in the last three years, and zero closed in the last 12 months. Four complaints is not a clean-sheet result, and the business should explain its service process if a buyer has concerns.

Solar Power World ranked Independent Solar Arizona #9 with 13,428.76 kW installed in Arizona in 2024 and 15,445.27 kW total U.S. volume. It did not appear in the 2026 Arizona list retrieved in this research, which is a signal to check directly rather than an explanation for the absence. The 2024 ranking is still independent evidence of meaningful delivered work.

Arizona ROC lists POSITIVE SYNERGY, LLC dba Independent Solar LLC, ROC 344062, class CR-11 Electrical, in Lake Havasu City, with Amos J. Robinson as qualifying party and Michael Gerrard Mazick as member. The readable ROC result did not expose current status or expiration. No workmanship or production warranty terms were published on the reviewed company pages. The company says it handles in-house onboarding, installation, and servicing for systems it sells, but that does not establish the duration or exclusions of a written warranty. Ask for those terms before treating service language as protection.

How to read this
Independent Solar has evidence of real Arizona volume and a CR-11 electrical record. The leadership conflict is still unresolved, and it should be stated plainly instead of buried under a growth story. Ask who is the current executive accountable for your contract, which entity signs it, and who will provide warranty service. For Nevada work, also ask for the Nevada contractor license, because it was not verified in this research. Our full rubric, including how our own installation business gets graded on the same scale, is on the methodology page. We are a solar installer and we partner with other solar companies. Grading is structurally separated from revenue; see disclosures.
