The research did not establish company-specific ownership, litigation, or regulatory history. One complaint does not answer the bigger question here: who actually performs and warrants the install.

Nova NRG says it has served "thousands of families" and is one of the fastest-growing residential solar and home-improvement providers in the United States. Those are the company's own numbers, we treat them as claims. It publishes no installation count, MW figure, or employee count, and it did not appear in the Solar Power World Florida list reviewed for this research.

No contractor license number is published on the company site or BBB profile. Instead, Nova NRG says it partners with vetted, licensed contractors, providers, and lenders. That means the license you need to verify belongs to the contractor assigned to your project, not necessarily the company selling you the system.

The solar page refers to stronger warranties and performance and product guarantees, but it gives no duration or terms. It also does not name the equipment brands. Ask who provides the labor warranty, who administers it, and which licensed contractor remains responsible if the sales company is no longer involved.

How to read this
Treat Nova NRG as a sales organization until it identifies the licensed contractor that will build your system. Get that company's legal name, license number, insurance information, permit history, and warranty terms before you pay a deposit. Ask whether Nova NRG or the installation contractor will be your point of contact after commissioning. Then make sure the contract names the installer and allocates responsibility for roof work, service calls, monitoring, and warranty claims.
