Daniel Otis Womack is the qualifying party on all four, all four surety bonds are active with zero paid out, and the company about page says Caleb Antonucci founded it in 2016, which matches the BBB business start of March 23, 2016.
Then look at the complaint file, which is why this grade sits where it does. The B license showed 3 open ROC complaint cases when we read it on August 27, 2026, two of them opened in 2026, alongside one resolved case there and another resolved on the CR-11. Under our rubric, open cases pending before a state licensing board count as pending disciplinary action, and that caps the grade at D no matter how clean the license statuses look. BBB adds the volume: 208 complaints in the last 3 years, 84 closed in the last 12 months, against an A rating. The published texts describe a leased system that was not consistently operational about 12 months after contract while the homeowner paid both a lease and a doubled electric bill, a $1,500 Illinois Shines rebate never received, a 30-amp circuit that came back as a 20-amp circuit during a panel upgrade, and an unpaid sales promise of $660. One complaint names Freedom Forever alongside Our World Energy, and the lease complaint describes the company as the installer behind a third-party lease, so ask exactly who is selling, who is financing, and who answers the phone after PTO.
Should you get a quote? Only if you go in eyes open. The company claims a 25-year no-strings-attached warranty on its about page, but publishes no terms, its homepage sits behind a bot wall, and it states no service area on the page we could read. A company that pairs four clean-status licenses with two hundred plus complaints is telling you the install crews and the sales-and-service pipeline are not the same machine. If the open ROC cases close without discipline, this grade can move. Until then, D.

How to read this
This D is a cap, not a tally. The license record alone would read much better, but our rubric treats open state complaint cases as pending disciplinary action, and three were open when we pulled the record. The grade cannot predict how those cases resolve, and it cannot tell you whether the 208 BBB complaints trace to this company's crews or to the lease and sales companies its projects run through. What it can do is tell you what to demand: the warranty terms in writing, the name of every company in your deal, and a recheck of the ROC record before you sign.
