Solar G

C
Provisional grade. Solar G has a clear California license, but the unresolved 2009, 2022, and 2024 timeline and the absence of published warranty and volume evidence keep it at C.
Solar G, listed by BBB as Solar G Solutions, is a Glendale company with a clear California B and C-10 license issued in 2024. Its public timeline does not line up cleanly: BBB lists a 2009 business start and 2022 incorporation, while CSLB shows the license issue date in 2024. The company offers solar, batteries, and roofing, and names Tesla Powerwall, Enphase, and LG Chem for battery storage. It does not publish workmanship or production warranty terms on the pages reviewed, and no scale figure was available. The license is a real positive. The rest needs to be nailed down in writing before a deposit changes hands.

The evidence

LongevityPending verification

BBB lists a business start of March 31, 2009 and incorporation on July 21, 2022. CSLB shows the company license was issued February 26, 2024. The dates conflict and the research could not reconcile them, so we will not present the 2009 date as a verified operating record.

Complaints and enforcementPending verification

BBB shows an A+ rating and accreditation, but the profile does not state a complaint count. No company-specific news, litigation, or regulatory action was found in the research. With no visible complaint total, a clean record cannot be confirmed.

Verifiable volumePending verification

No employee, installation, or MW figures were published, and Solar G did not match the 2026 Top California Solar Contractors list. The research does identify Vardan Sargsyan as principal on the BBB profile, but that is not evidence of installation volume.

License statusVerified

CSLB lists Solar G Solutions as a corporation with license 1117086, B and C-10 classifications, CLEAR status, issued February 26, 2024 and expiring February 29, 2028. The company says licensed and insured but does not publish the number itself.

Warranty termsPending verification

No workmanship or production warranty terms were published on the reviewed battery-storage page. A battery brand list is not a labor warranty. Ask for separate documents covering equipment, workmanship, roof penetrations, and any production promise.

How to read this

Solar G clears the threshold that matters first: a state license can be matched to the business. The next task is reconciling the operating history. Ask why the BBB business-start date, incorporation date, and license issue date differ, and get the answer in the proposal file. Require the actual workmanship and roof-penetration warranty before you compare price. A clear license lets the conversation begin. It does not finish the diligence. Our full rubric, including how our own installation business gets graded on the same scale, is on the methodology page. We are a solar installer and we partner with other solar companies. Grading is structurally separated from revenue; see disclosures.
