Installer profile
Sunhaus Solar
Sunhaus Solar brokers your job to somebody else. That is not an accusation, it is close to what the about page says: the company describes itself as authorized to work with multiple solar companies, it talks about thoroughly vetting the companies and partners it works alongside, and it frames its role as bringing client volume to reputable brands. Put that beside the license search and the picture is consistent. CSLB has no record under SUNHAUS or SUNHAUS SOLAR, and none under the founder's other brand, HOMENERDS. A personnel search on CHOPRA returned seven people, none of them Faustin Chopra, whose LinkedIn profile lists him as founder and CEO of Sunhaus Solar and Homenerds USA.
Our rubric caps any company without a verifiable license at C, and that cap is doing all the work here. There is no enforcement history, because with no license there is no CSLB complaint-disclosure page to check at all. There is no BBB record either. Searching for a BBB profile returned only unrelated companies, and since BBB's own search pages block automated access, treat that as no findable profile rather than a clean one. The absence of bad news is not good news. It is just absence.
What the site does publish is unverifiable. Homepage counters read 43,968 panels installed and 1,898 customer satisfaction, with a note about expanding to a nationwide company, and no third party corroborates any of it. Warranty language is one phrase, industry leading warranties and guarantees on performance and workmanship, with no year counts, no coverage scope, and no exclusions. The contact page gives a form and a phone number, no street address, no license number, and no Inc. or LLC designation anywhere. The 5.0-star Google average from 29 ratings in our Upland directory feed is real, but 29 ratings on a sales operation tells you how the pitch felt, not how the roof penetrations were flashed.
If you talk to Sunhaus, the only question that matters is which licensed contractor signs your contract and holds the workmanship obligation. Get that company's legal name and license number in writing, then grade that company, not this one. A broker can be perfectly useful as a middleman. It cannot be the party you chase in five years when an inverter cooks and the roof stains.
The evidence
No founding year is stated on the homepage, about page, careers page, or contact page, and no state license issue date exists to substitute for one, because there is no license. Without either, the operating history is unknown rather than short.

No government enforcement was found, but note what that does and does not mean here: with no CSLB license there is no state complaint-disclosure page in existence to check, so the usual enforcement lookup is unavailable rather than clean. No BBB profile for Sunhaus Solar was found, and BBB search pages are robots-blocked, so that is absence of a findable profile.

Homepage counters claim 43,968 panels installed and 1,898 customer satisfaction. Nothing corroborates either figure, and the Sunhaus name is missing from all three Solar Power World rankings checked, the 2026 contractors table, the 2025 California table, and the 2026 installers table. For a company that routes work to partners, a panel count also does not identify who performed the installations.

CSLB business-name searches on SUNHAUS and SUNHAUS SOLAR returned no licensee, with the next alphabetical results running SUNHAVEN BUILDERS, SUNHAWK CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION, SUNHEART BUILDERS INC, SUNHILL REFRIGERATION and SUNI ROOFING, which shows the search executed. A search on HOMENERDS also returned nothing. A personnel search on CHOPRA returned no Faustin Chopra. There is no license to verify, and California requires one for this work.

The about page promises industry leading warranties and guarantees on performance and workmanship. There are no year counts, no exclusions, no transfer terms, and no statement of which entity carries the labor obligation. The homepage and contact page contain no warranty language at all. In a brokered arrangement the warranty question is the whole ballgame, so an unquantified phrase is not usable.

How to read this
A C here is a ceiling, not a compliment. It means we could not verify the one credential that makes a company answerable for construction work, so the grade stops climbing no matter how the sales experience goes. Read this page as a redirect: the entity worth investigating is whoever Sunhaus hands your project to. Ask for that name and license number before the site survey, not after. Our full rubric, including how our own installation business gets graded on the same scale, is on the methodology page. We are a solar installer and we partner with other solar companies. Grading is structurally separated from revenue; see disclosures.
