The published warranty is the strongest in this batch, 25-year workmanship, 25-year roof penetration, 25-year panel parts and labor, and a 12 to 25 year inverter parts and labor term, with the roof-penetration method described on the page.
Now the other half. BBB rates the company A+ but logs 15 complaints in the last 3 years, 5 closed in the last 12 months, and the published texts repeat a theme: what happens when a customer tries to cancel. An August 2026 complaint describes a debt collector pursuing site-survey, permit, and sales-commission charges after cancellation. An April 2025 complaint involved a $1,072 cancellation fee later retracted. An October 2023 complaint shows the company initially seeking $12,436 in cancellation damages before settling at 10 percent. Others allege misleading sales representations, including a $13,000 incentive described as a check that was actually a tax credit, and a LightReach agreement dispute rejected twice by the consumer. No government enforcement action was found, and the ROC records display no discipline.
One more wrinkle: the company and BBB both date the business to March 2015, but its earliest displayed ROC license was first issued in December 2020, and whether it installed under some other arrangement for those five years is unconfirmed. Should you get a quote? If the warranty and scale matter to you, yes, but treat the contract like the evidence says to. Read the cancellation clause before you sign anything, get every incentive representation in writing, and assume a cancellation will be enforced as written, because the complaint file says it will be.

BBB records a business start and incorporation of March 5, 2015 and the company says it has operated since 2015, but the earliest ROC license displayed for Sunsolar Solutions Inc was first issued December 17, 2020, and the ROC business-name search returned only this one entity. The 2015 to 2020 gap is real in the public record, and any earlier licensing arrangement is unconfirmed.

How to read this
A C here is not a warning to walk away. It reports mixed evidence: the state records and volume rankings are strong, while the BBB file shows a repeating dispute pattern around cancellations and sales promises that never appears in the ROC counters. The grade cannot tell you whether your sale will go cleanly. It can tell you where past ones went wrong, so read the cancellation and fee terms line by line, get incentive math in writing, and keep the signed warranty document, which is the best published term in this market if it holds.
