The record includes contractor, employee or worker, and workers compensation coverage, and it showed no publicly disclosable complaint, citation, accusation, or civil judgment on the research date. That is a workable starting point, not a finished diligence file.
The gaps are practical. BBB reports two complaints in three years, one closed in the last 12 months, with one January 2026 complaint marked unanswered. No exact workmanship term was published, Voltaic was absent from the Solar Power World lists reviewed, and the company pages use Voltaic LLC and Voltaic Energy Solutions while CSLB lists Voltaic Construction LLC. The research also did not support the Brea address in the listing. This grade is C because the state record is real but the operating record is short and several contract-level facts remain unresolved. A C reflects a record with enough evidence to evaluate but too many unknowns to call clean. Do not try to resolve a legal-name mismatch by trusting a logo, a web address, or a verbal promise. The agreement should identify the CSLB license holder, job address, insurance contact, installation scope, workmanship warranty, and the person who takes responsibility after PTO.
